Vanessa A. Ryan

I was born in Los Angeles. I live in a beach in Southern California, though I have lived in the mountains and in the high desert. I’m also an actor. I love being in nature, and I love animals. I have several cats who live indoors with me. I graduated from UCLA. Like most writers, I grew up reading every book I could get my hands on. I especially liked reading mystery books. I always wished I could be another Nancy Drew and solve real life mysteries. Instead, I ended up writing them. I am a member of SAG/AFTRA, Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime, and The Crime Writers’ Association.
